In a Roman judgement hall, the savior of the world stood. They interrogated Him intensely and questioned Him shamefully. His accusers were quite vague in their charges against Him. Pilate, the governor, tried to understand why those people hated Jesus so much, so Pilate asked Jesus a series of questions. The examination eventually led to this response from the Lord: “Everyone who is of the truth, listens to my voice.” Which then warranted Pilate to respond with a simply powerful question, “What is truth?”
There is no substitute for truth. Anything that’s not true is, by default, a lie. This book is a journey to discover what that truth is; to answer the question Pilate asked Jesus. What is truth? What is God’s will for us? And what is my responsibility to salvation?
